Fantasy Sports
For those of you who are really into sports, Fantasy Sports is for you. If you don't know what that is, it's sort-of an online game in which you can play with your friends. There are many different websites that provide your Fantasy Sports out there, but they all have the same idea. You choose your team, draft your players, and based on how your players do in the actual game, you get points. The person with the most points in the end wins! Still don't get it? Here's an example: You have Derek Jeter on your team. While playing the Red Sox, he gets two home-runs, and each home run is worth ten points. So, now you have ten points. Also, if you don't have a TV nearby, you can go to these sites and get free, automatically updated scores on any game! For more information on how it works, you can visit any of the sites and look at their rules and regulations. These are the main places that most people use and are happy with: CBS SportsLine, Yahoo Fantasy Sports, and ESPN Fantasy Games. But be careful, once you in on this uprising phenomenon, you'll get easily addicted.
Below is a picture of what your Fantasy Sports page would look like at CBS SportsLine.
